Reckoned Hobby

In a manner it is a matter of a leader's charisma or perhaps a reason to study group interaction and dominance factors. If a director is a leader indeed and a mature intelligent personality, he or she will manage to involve his or her employees into something worthy that can enrich each person and knit all the members of the command without making it just a cult of some erratic looks. As for me I don't mind being influenced and changing my routine from time to time within the bound of reason. I remember my former coworker, a nice fragile young woman, who fell under influence of the boss and changed beyond recognition (a least in appearance) in a short period of time. When she came to our enterprise she seemed a very shy, mild, housewifely lady. She preferred wearing nice midi-dresses or skirt suits of quiet colors. It is worthy of note that she was rather attractive and free. Her desk was next to mine so I was able to watch all the metamorphoses of the girl, let us call her Kate. Sometimes she told about her hobbies - painting and making stuffed toys - and even showed us some of her works. Kate was talented beyond dispute but took praise and compliments half-heartedly and even with a grain of salt. Hardly ever Kate remarked that her occupations are not rewarding but she failed to be creative and match a mood otherwise. After a month with our company Kate started dating with our boss, a confirmed bachelor and an extreme sports enthusiast. Three years have passed since then. They still have been dating and sharing his hobbies, not hers. Now she is a free-diver, a hang-glider pilot, an alpine skier and a biker. Tight dresses and skirts in her wardrobe are found side by side with a diving-dress, ski equipment and a biker helmet. The latter is red and decorated with a nice floral ornament. At first Kate grumbled at nausea, but now she learnt to cope with it. It stands to reason that an employee's pernicious habits can damn his prospects.
